Hatzel & Buehler has an established and effective safety and health program, uniquely designed to protect the health and well being of employees and of the general public. As an electrical contractor, Hatzel & Buehler’s safety programs comply with the latest edition of the NFPA 70E: Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace, and meet or exceed OSHA requirements. Hatzel & Buehler is committed to providing NFPA 70E Arc Flash Electrical Safety Training to the Field Electricians, Project Managers, Estimators, Supervisors and Foremen. Hatzel & Buehler is often engaged by their Clients to provide such safety training to their employees. Training in all areas is a continuous improvement function of Hatzel & Buehler’s safety program.
With seven active offices, Hatzel & Buehler employs a multi-tiered Safety team, with both regional and corporate levels of influence and management.
At the regional level, Safety Managers identify and implement site-specific safety plans, tailored to individual business operations. The Regional Safety team works directly with their local Project Management Staff and Field Electricians to ensure full compliance with safety, health and environmental standards, by conducting periodic audits and project pre-planning exercises. In addition, the Safety Managers conduct on-site training programs, maintain safety related records and chair monthly Branch Office safety meetings.
The regional safety teams report directly into Hatzel & Buehler’s corporate Safety Director, who reports directly into the corporate Safety Committee, which is comprised of Hatzel & Buehler’s Executive Management personnel. The corporate Safety Director provides leadership and safety resources for Hatzel & Buehler, and is responsible for the development and implementation of all corporate safety programs and procedures.
Hatzel & Buehler proudly assures each employee a safe and healthful working environment.
